Target Audience

The education design of this activity addresses the needs of physicians and scientists in the field of pediatric, perinatal and general pathology who are involved in the diagnosis and/or treatment of pediatric patients with pathologic disorders.

Learning Objectives

Recognize, in allograft liver biopsies, histologic features of T cell-mediated rejection, antibody-mediated rejection, and other forms of rejection (e.g. chronic ductopenic rejection and plasma cell-rich rejection

Recognize, in allograft liver biopsies, histologic mimickers of rejection

Recognize, in transplant kidney biopsies, histologic features of acute T cell-mediated rejection, acute antibody-mediated rejection, and changes of chronic cellular and antibody-mediated rejection

Recognize, in transplant kidney biopsies, histologic mimickers of rejection
